This consists of solar panels, one or several inverters, a power conditioning unit and grid connection equipment. When solar panels generate more electricity than the owner can use during the day -Net metering is an agreement that allows to sell excess solar energy to the utility company or buy deficit energy from the utility company using a meter to track this energy exchange.
